Slurpee – Tap of War
Challenge: What's Slurpee’s version of an Instagram Story; embodying their energetic, loud and fun-loving tone?
Solution: In order to cut through the social noise of our audience's ever-growing feeds, we broke the platform by gamifying Stories for the first time ever with ‘Tap of War’. An interactive game where two mates tug a Slurpee closest to them in a wager-style manner. It broke friendships, sold a lot of Slurpees and had 400k taps in 24hrs (that's 4.5 taps per second). Best of all? Facebook recognised it as a Best Practice and Innovation case study.
